Alpha Course - starts Wednesday, 29th September 2010

St Stephen's will be running an Alpha Course starting on Tuesday 9 March 2010 at 7.30pm

Alpha is a great opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed setting. It is ideal for anyone who wants to discover more about what Christians believe. It will appeal to non-Christians who would like to ask questions and find out more, but also Christians who would like to develop their own understanding. It is an ideal preparation for for anyone thinking about baptism or confirmation. This course is open to anyone.

Each evening will begin with supper followed by a talk. There's then time to reflect, discuss and ask questions in small groups.
The first sessions will be:
• Who is Jesus?
• Why did Jesus die?
• How can I be sure of my faith?
• Why and how should I read the Bible?

Our previous Alpha course was described by one of the participants as ‘informative, inspiring, welcoming, interesting and enjoyable.’ Why not come along and find out for yourself?
